Nestled in the trees off of Harts Neck Road in Tenants Harbor is this wonderful two bedroom upstairs gambrel roofed barn guest house. The spacious 2nd floor plan gives the feeling of a fairyland in the sky, overlooking a clear view of the mouth of Tenants harbor and the islands and ocean beyond. The furnishings are very comfortable including lovely antiques and beautiful old wood floors as well as a complete kitchen.
Just a short walk down a maintained path is a field with picnic table that looks out to the ocean and the gentle shore front rocks where it it fun to explore the tide pools.
The barn guest house living area is about 1200 square feet with an open living room and dining area and kitchen. There is a wood stove in the living room as well as a television, DVD and VCR. In addition to the woodstove the guest house is heated with a monitor heater. The kitchen is fully appointed, including a dishwasher and microwave and all appliances and cooking utensils. There is a full bathroom with shower and tub, and a washing machine and dryer. There are two bedrooms, one queen bed and two single beds, and one full bathroom.
This guest house has access to a privately shared dock right on Tenants Harbor, just a 5 minute walk. You may swim from the dock and leave a very small boat. A deep water mooring is available to rent. Public tennis courts are about a mile from the property.
Crib and high chair and children's bicycles provided upon request.
