Note: Currently, Owls Landing is undergoing renovations to make this spectacular property even better! Projects, which will be done long before the first guests arrive, include the following upgrades: hardwood floors will be added in the majority of the house, including the master bedroom. Ceramic tile will be installed in the kitchen, entry and bathrooms. Walls will be freshly painted and board-and-batten, for the true cottage look, will be added. The house will have new linens, new and newly upholstered furniture and the décor will be updated (new window treatments, etc.). We will post new photos as projects are completed!

Owls Landing sits nestled in the woods with unobstructed views of Penobscot Bay and the Camden Hills. A private beach and a sprawling green lawn make this house a perfect place to vacation in Maine.
Overlooking the cove where local schooners often come to rest at the end of the day, this house feels comfortable and relaxed — a true home away from home with outstanding views, a sprawling lawn and a great beach!
Two bedroom wings flank the main living area. A dining room overlooks the water and opens onto the deck and a fully-equipped kitchen leads to the living room.
The views from the living room are spectacular thanks to two enormous picture windows overlooking the yard and the water beyond. There is a small flat screen television in the living room.
The master bedroom, with vaulted, beamed ceilings, is on the left side of the house. This private suite has a king bed, a private full bath and a laundry room. The master bedroom also has a flat screen television.
On the opposite side of the house find a peaceful and traditional library/den with beautiful views of the water and an endless supply of books. There is also a flat screen television, cable television and WiFi Internet connection.
The den also has a new pullout couch for extra sleeping space.
Down the hall in this wing are two bedrooms and a full bath with tub/shower enclosure. The first bedroom is quite spacious and has a king (made from 2 twins which can be separated into two beds) and a double bed. The second bedroom, also a substantial size, has two twin beds.
In addition to spacious indoor accommodations, Owls Landing also boasts two outdoor living areas with a full-sized deck and a sunny, sheltered patio, complete with a grill for outdoor cooking. Both the deck and the patio offer comfortable seating.
Owls Landing offers privacy in estate-like surroundings with close proximity to Owls Head Village, Rockland, Camden and the St. George Peninsula.
Significant room to roam through the woods, play a game of badminton on the front yard, or watch the lobster boats head out to work in the morning. Comb your own beach, launch a kayak, go for a bike ride and explore the village, read a book on the front deck — this is a house that you can make your own while making unforgettable memories of Maine.
