Shore Winds is located on Drinkwater Wharf, overlooking Spruce Head Island.
A modern house with classic styling, Shore Winds is a private getaway at the water's edge.
Open, bright and sunny, the house has a lush lawn, a brick patio with an outdoor shower and a large deck with plenty of seating. A small deck, with room for two or three chairs, hangs over the waterfront; a set of stairs makes accessing the water easy.
The house sleeps 6 in three bedrooms. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a queen bed, vaulted ceilings, a sitting area and expansive ocean views. A unique window custom-fitted for the house's gable end offers uninterrupted views of the island and beyond.
A second bedroom with double French doors is located just down the hall and sleeps 2 in a comfortable double bed. The third bedroom sleeps two in a double bed. Both bedrooms have nice views of the waterfront.
The main bath is on the second floor with marble floors, a large shower/tub combination and plenty of natural light from a skylight above.
The main living area downstairs is an open-concept design; the kitchen is well-equipped with high-end appliances and counter space for eating in-kitchen.
The dining room is located at the front of the house with seating for 6 and flanked by a brick fireplace with a small seating area.
The living room has comfortable seating. A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water and built-in bookshelves and window seats make the room relaxing and serene.
A media room off the dining room is outfitted with leather couches and a flat-screen television. This room can be closed off from the rest of the house by shutting the double French doors.
A washer and dryer is available for guest use. Shore Winds has Internet access and cable television.
